Matcha is no longer just a trend. It has become a stable reference on the menus of coffee shops, hotels, restaurants and wellness spaces across Europe. Its vibrant green colour, nutritional profile and versatility in both hot and cold drinks have made it one of the products with the highest loyalty potential in the HoReCa channel.

Wholesale matcha: 250 g and 1 kg in premium and culinary quality
Working with bulk matcha has a direct advantage: the cost per serving goes down, the margin goes up and quality is controlled from day one. Serving a matcha latte made with low-quality powder is simply not the same as using organic matcha of Japanese origin, properly ground and with the colour and aroma the customer expects.
Our matcha is available in two distinct qualities depending on the use. Premium quality is the most suitable for cup preparations: matcha latte, iced matcha, ceremonial. It has a more intense green colour, a finer flavour and a more elegant result in a transparent glass.
Culinary quality is designed for baking, smoothies, frappés and preparations where matcha is mixed with other ingredients. More economical and perfect for intensive kitchen use.
Both qualities are organically certified and available in 250 g — ideal for medium rotation or seasonal launch — and 1 kg, the most common format for businesses with daily service.
Why matcha latte is now essential on your menu
Matcha tea is one of the most recognised superfoods in the world. Its composition includes high levels of antioxidants, chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals, along with a unique combination of caffeine and L-theanine that provides sustained energy without the peak and crash associated with coffee.
For hospitality professionals, that translates into a customer who comes back. Those who incorporate matcha latte into their routine tend to order it regularly, recommend it and rate positively the establishments that serve it with quality.
According to industry data, the global matcha market is projected to grow from $3.48 billion in 2023 to $5.78 billion in 2028. This is not a passing trend — it is an expanding category with a loyal and growing audience.

Who is our organic bulk matcha for
Our matcha is designed for businesses that need consistency, quality and competitive pricing. It works particularly well in coffee shops looking to expand their menu beyond coffee, hotels seeking a premium option for breakfast or in-room service, restaurants wanting to incorporate functional drinks or matcha-based desserts, spas and wellness centres where the product image matters as much as the flavour, and catering services that need format flexibility and quick restocking.
Whether you already have matcha on your menu and are looking for a more reliable supplier, or you are thinking about adding it for the first time, we can send you a free sample to evaluate before making a decision.

Basic Matcha Coffee recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of best matcha powder 1-2g
- 80 ml of hot water (around 75-80 °C, not boiling)
- 150-200 ml of milk (can be cow’s milk or plant-based: oat, almond, soy, coconut, etc.)
- 1 teaspoon honey, agave syrup or your favourite sweetener (optional)
Preparation:
- Dissolve the ground green tea:
Place the teaspoon in a bowl or wide cup.
Add the hot water and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a small hand whisk until you obtain a smooth, frothy mixture with no lumps. - Heat the milk:
Heat the milk without letting it boil.
If you want a frothier latte, you can froth the milk with a manual or electric frother. - Prepare the latte:
Slowly pour the hot milk over the dissolved Japanese green tea.
If you prefer a cold matcha latte, you can add ice before pouring the milk. - Serving:
You can sprinkle a little extra matcha on top for decoration.
📝 Extra Tips:
- For coffee shops: use oat milk for a creamier, more consistent foam.
- Dosage: if you want a more intense flavour, increase the amount of matcha to 1½ teaspoons.
- Presentation: serve in a clear glass cup to highlight the vibrant green colour of this drink.

Iced Matcha Latte: perfect for spring and summer
Iced matcha is one of the highest-selling drinks in the warm season. Quick to prepare and visually impressive: fill a glass with ice, add the dissolved matcha base, top with cold milk and serve. In a transparent glass, the visual effect is immediate.
It is a perfect option for seasonal menus, outdoor terraces, brunch service and any setting where something different from the standard iced coffee is needed.

More ways to use matcha on your menu
Beyond the latte, culinary matcha opens up a wide range of possibilities in the kitchen and bakery. In frappés it is a refreshing alternative with strong appeal among younger customers. In smoothies, combined with fruits such as banana, mango or pineapple, it produces nutritious and visually attractive drinks. In baking, added to muffins, cakes, biscuits or creams, it brings a distinctive colour and flavour to any display counter.
Culinary quality is designed exactly for this: a more accessible price point without compromising on organic quality or Japanese origin.
How to choose the right matcha supplier for your business
Not all matcha is the same. The difference between quality matcha and a mediocre one shows in the colour — good matcha has an intense, bright green — in the aroma — vegetal, fresh and slightly sweet — and in the final flavour of the drink.
At Semper Tea we work directly with certified Japanese suppliers and offer guidance to help each client choose the format and quality that best fits their operation.
