These beneficial properties are attributed to two compounds found in chamomile: chamazulene and alpha-bisabolol. However, it’s important to note that ingesting chamomile is different from applying it to the eyes.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the chamomile infusion may contain plant particles that could negatively affect the eye’s flora. For individuals with allergies, it can be harmful because chamomile contains its own pollen.<\/p>\n

There is no scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of this home remedy. Using chamomile tea on the eyes may not only exacerbate the eye condition but also delay the decision to consult a specialist.<\/p>\n
